For each TODDLER case, start with 16 inches of 45" width material.  (CHILD=start with 18 inches)
This will allow extra fabric for shrinking. We highly recommend you wash and dry the material before
you cut and sew to pre-shrink. Be sure to then iron the fabric flat, keeping the fold in its original
place (i.e. the same way it came off the bolt).
STEP 6
Turn inside out and you're done!
STEP 4
Stitch each flap of each side down.
STEP 5
With right sides facing, stitch the long sides of the case closed.
STEP 2
Turn down 1/4" - 1/2" of each selvage edge and press.
STEP 3
Fold down a flap on each side (this will make the top opening) to a final length of 19".
(CHILD=21"). Press.
STEP 1
Trim and cut the width to 14 1/2" (CHILD=16 1/2")
(The fold of the fabric is at the top in this photo; the selvage edge at the bottom.)
